Uki Yamazoe (山添 うき, Yamazoe Uki) is a small and childish looking girl who has almost zero knowledge of using a cell phone or other electronics in general.
Appearance[]
Uki is a female teenager with light brown hair with side hair whose body is also like a child. She wears glasses and a red ribbon tie. She also carries around a green gero-froggy backpack.
Yui confirmed she has the exact appearance hasn't changed since six years ago with a class photo of them in their second grade of school.
Personality[]
Uki is a shy, timid and polite girl who is very altruistic into helping others and making them happy before herself. Although endearing, this is the result of her accepting having to care for the patients in the hospital
Background[]
Uki is about the same age as Yui and used to go to the same class as Yui Tachibana up to their second grade of elementary school. However, a little before the Shibuya earthquake, she stopped coming to school.
After the events of the Shibuya earthquake, she was put in charge of taking care of the remaining patients of the hidden facility under the AH general hospital.
Uki possesses the power to grant the wishes of others, as first seen when Momo fell under a delusion in response to wanting to find Uki a good home; she experienced taking her to an orphanage, only to come to her senses later. However, Uki's power only appears at random; she cannot control whether the delusion will occur, she cannot select a delusion, nor can she create one of her own imaginings.

In Uki's Route, Uki was accidentally stabbed by Takuru while trying to stop a brainwashed Itou. Overwhelmed with guilt, a dying Uki created Takuru's delusion that the incident was nothing more than a dream. Takuru lived through a dream world where the New Gen murders were resolved, everyone was unharmed, and he even had a girlfriend (revealed to be Uki imagined as a teenager). However, occassionally, bits of reality would slip through, such as a memory of Riko's attack, or the real Uki herself trying to snap Takuru out of the delusion. Eventually, Takuru witnessed a battle between two versions of Uki: one trying to give Takuru his ideal wish and spare him the pain of reality, and the wounded one trying to break him out before she and her imaginary world die. Takuru breaks free, and Uki is taken to the hospital. In the end, she recovers, but is rendered catatonic.
Trivia[]
