Riko Haida (杯田 理子, Haida Riko) is a Chaos Child syndrome patient and a possessor of gigalomaniac powers (pyrokinesis) who was eventually murdered, becoming the 5th victim in the Return of the New Generation Madness cases.
Plot[]
Haida is first seen walking alone in the streets of Shibuya, dragging one of her legs. After attacking Takuru Miyashiro and Hinae Arimura, she is wrongly identified as Senri Minamisawa and believed to be a suspect of Return of the New Generation Madness. She later becomes the victim of the 5th murder of The Return of the New Generation Madness on the 23rd of October. She was mind controlled into killing herself.
During the investigation of her murder, her true identity is discovered and Senri Minamisawa's identity once again gets shrouded in mystery.
Etymology[]
- The name Riko means "reason, logic" (理) (ri) and "child" (子) (ko).
- Riko's surname Haida means "cup, sake cup/wine cup" (杯) (hai) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
