Real Booting is the practice of turning delusions into reality. It can only be done by gigalomaniacs or through the use of specially designed devices that mimic the powers of gigalomaniacs. A more detailed explanation of the concept of real booting is available on the Chaos;Head wiki.
A Gigalomaniac broadcasts their delusions into the minds of others to control their senses; this is considered a subjective illusion without substance unless all who could perceive the delusion actually do so. Once everyone perceives the illusion and cannot contradict it, it becomes part of objective, physical reality.
